Building Connections at Home & School: Key Factors that Build Resilience for our Children and Youth Impacted by Trauma and Toxic Stress
Foster, adoptive and kinship families are invited to join us for our next Loudoun Connect training. Supporting a child or youth who has experienced trauma is critical for educational success. Kelly Henderson, Ph.D., Executive Director of Formed Families Forward, will share strategies that schools and parents/caregivers can implement together to ensure children and youth impacted by trauma and toxic stress have the best outcome possible.
While the content is designed primarily for an adoptive, kinship and foster audience, the session is open to all interested parents, caregivers and professionals. Note there is NO child care available on site.
